Will my certificate say "online" or "distance"?
Short answer
Often yes. Most universities state the mode on the degree certificate, and that is normal and not a problem.
Many universities print the mode — "Open and Distance Learning mode" or similar — on the certificate. Some do not. Either way the award is the degree named on it.
Employers who care about mode will ask regardless of what the certificate says. Employers who do not, will not notice.
What to check
- Ask to see a specimen of the final certificate before you enrol.
- Check the register number format matches your marksheets, because that is what a verification desk uses.
