Will I get placement support?
Short answer
Rarely anything comparable to a campus programme. Treat placement claims on online programmes with scepticism.
Some online programmes offer a job board, CV help or a webinar series. Very few offer the recruiting relationships that make campus placement meaningful.
If placement is the main reason you are enrolling, that is worth examining hard before you pay.
Important. Be very careful with any programme whose main selling point is a guaranteed job.
What to check
- Ask for placement data by cohort, with the median — not the highest package.
- A refusal to provide it, or only "up to" figures, is itself informative.
